Four short poems

Wren

A wren
is no hen
is she?
Spring poem

This morning walking
to work
I saw
leaves
backing out of the
branches of a hedge.
Favorite things

One of my
favorite things
is watching
my wife
and her nephew
talking and laughing
in the kitchen
Guitarist Leo Kottke

Said his voice sounds like
Goose farts on a muggy day,

But his guitar, his guitar,
Oh, what a voice it has!
